I cleared error codes and ran unit through manual test mode and checked if unit was shifting properly from agitate to spin and vice verse and found that unit did not properly engage in agitate position, I inspected under unit and found mode shifter was turning but not engaging arm to change position on splutch. "Complaint certain settings not working properly and 'food' would come up and not start unit. . Upon arrival and diag, found unit to be functioning normal to factory specs. Tested by heating glass of water and after 1 minute, water was almost boiling. No issues found with unit, let customer know that when. The unit is in idle, you need to open the door so that it thinks an item is inside and will start to heat, will not heat if it doesn't recognize the door was open to put items inside."
