Viking Range Appliances offer commercial versatility designed to fit your home kitchen. Founded in 1984 by fourth generation contractor Fred Carl, Jr., Viking Range Corporation has been dedicated to merging the versatility of commercial appliances with the comfort of home cooking for almost 30 years. While building his home in 1980, Carl became inspired by the limitations of consumer cooking ranges available at the time and began designing one that could handle the commercial volume, yet included convenient home features such as automatic pilots and safety features now common in most home cooking surfaces.
By 1987, Carl and his newly minted Viking Corporation had begun producing and selling ranges that offered previously unavailable features such as in-oven broiling, insulation designed to reduce thermal emission, and intuitive controls. Since then, Viking Range Corporation has grown to produce many of the kitchen and home appliances that make our lives easier. From warming drawers, wine coolers, and trash compactors, Viking now produces a full range of home appliances and accessories for your everyday needs.
